Columbus schools will reopen Friday after two days off because of this week’s storm, spokesman Jeff Warner said this afternoon.
Every Columbus school will need to make up at least two days because the district has exceeded the five cancellations allowed by state law. Eleven will need to make up three days.
Besides this week’s storm, schools were closed after a windstorm in September and a winter storm earlier this month.
Most schools will make up days after the scheduled last day of the school year, June 4. The year-round district schools will add days to the last day of the quarter.
These are the schools that will need to make up three days:
* Cedarwood Alternative Elementary School
* Colerain Elementary School
* Cranbrook Elementary School
* Devonshire Alternative Elementary School
* Eakin Elementary School
* Eastgate Elementary School
* East Linden Elementary School
* Hamilton STEM Academy PreK-6
* Beery Middle School
* Dominion Middle School
* Ridgeview Middle School
