A struggling Columbus charter school might be paying federal tax penalties with state tax dollars it receives to educate students.
A state audit released yesterday shows that the George Washington Carver Preparatory Academy at 2283 Sunbury Rd. failed to pay payroll and Medicare taxes it withheld from employees’ paychecks.
