Special Policy Update - Ohio Legislature Expands Private School Voucher Program
In April 2006, the Ohio Legislature expanded the state’s EdChoice voucher program to include buildings in either academic watch or academic emergency. As a result, the number of eligible buildings rose from 52 in 9 school districts to 99 in 23 districts. The number of eligible Columbus Public Schools buildings increased from 23 to 35. This report includes updated maps of voucher-eligible CPS buildings and voucher-accepting private schools.
